The Finale of a LieThe Finale of a Lie gives CRIT Rate, 40% ATK and 20% universal enemy vulnerability that benefits Ashveil as carry or sub-DPS.
When to use it : Reach four Follow-Up attacks or begin the battle to keep Umbra Devourer active through the Ultimate window.
Relics
The Ashblazing Grand Duke grants Follow-Up DMG and Ashveil's multi-hit attacks rapidly stack its large ATK bonus.
When to use it : The enhanced multi-hit Follow-Up after Ultimate must land before the next Follow-Up resets the eight ATK stacks.
Planar Ornaments
Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves converts the team's Follow-Up frequency into 25% Follow-Up DMG and 25% CRIT DMG for main-DPS Ashveil.
When to use it : Use allies with frequent Follow-Up attacks to reach five Merit stacks before the enhanced Ultimate sequence.
Team lineup
Feixiao and Aventurine attack frequently, Robin amplifies every Follow-Up and advances the team, while Aventurine protects Ashveil's fragile base stats.
When to use it : Keep the priority target marked as Bait so Feixiao, Robin and Aventurine repeatedly trigger Ashveil instead of moving the mark.

| Guide’s reference choice | The Finale of a Lie gives CRIT Rate, 40% ATK and 20% universal enemy vulnerability that benefits Ashveil as carry or sub-DPS. | Reach four Follow-Up attacks or begin the battle to keep Umbra Devourer active through the Ultimate window. |
| Accessible option | Swordplay raises Ashveil's DMG each time he hits the same target, up to five stacks; move Bait only after the priority target is finished because changing targets dispels every stack. | No additional condition documented in this guide. It is a four-star Hunt cone available from the standard Light Cone Warp, with no Battle Pass requirement. |
| Alternative | Cruising in the Stellar Sea provides CRIT Rate and a temporary ATK buff after an enemy defeat, useful in multi-target waves. | No additional condition documented in this guide. |

| Situational | Pioneer increases damage against debuffed enemies, gives CRIT Rate, and raises CRIT DMG at two or three debuffs; Ashveil's own debuff doubles those four-piece effects for one turn. | Use Pioneer only against targets kept under at least two debuffs, and have Ashveil inflict one to double its four-piece effects for one turn. |

| Accessible option | Hunt March and Moze provide frequent Follow-Up attacks on Bait, while Gallagher keeps the four-star support core alive and Skill Point positive. | No additional condition documented in this guide. Hunt March is free and Moze plus Gallagher are four-star units, so this team requires no additional limited five-star character. |

- Basic ATK
Ashveil marks one Bait, lowers every enemy's DEF, then counts each allied attack on Bait as one fixed-Energy trigger, Follow-Up attack and source of Gluttony for his enhanced Ultimate sequence.
How to play it
- 1Mark the priority enemy as Bait with Skill; repeat Skill on that same target to refund the Skill Point instead of moving the mark.
- 2Each allied attack on Bait spends one of Ashveil's three Charges, grants a fixed 8 Energy and builds two Gluttony; a multi-hit attack still produces only one fixed 8-Energy trigger.
- 3Use Ultimate near 12 Gluttony, refill three Charges and let the enhanced Follow-Up consume four Gluttony for each additional attack; kills retarget the remaining sequence.

Review method
Prydwen and Icy Veins were read independently for ashveil equipment, stats, rotations and teams, then checked against released 4.4 local data. The model keeps one current Bait and counts each allied attack on Bait as one fixed 8-Energy trigger while Charge is available; a multi-hit attack still produces only one fixed 8-Energy trigger. It caps Gluttony at 12 and spends four for each additional enhanced Follow-Up attack. Energy Regeneration Rate never multiplies the fixed trigger. CRIT is capped at 100%, and the team includes a sustain because the released defensive stats are low. Official 4.1 notes, the 4.0-to-4.4 delta and snapshot anchor the current kit.

Independent E0 main-DPS recommendations. Ashveil is fragile: use a sustain unless the encounter is already solved, and do not apply Energy Regeneration Rate to his fixed 8-Energy Bait trigger.
