Before the Tutorial Mission StartsBest support choice: attacking DEF-reduced enemies restores Energy, enabling more frequent Ultimates and DoT triggers.
Lies Dance on the BreezeAlternative support choice that adds SPD and teamwide DEF reduction; reaching 170 SPD unlocks its second debuff, but it gives up Tutorial's Energy loop.
Patience Is All You NeedPersonal-damage alternative with stacking SPD and an extra DoT; it supports Prisoner's DEF ignore, but offers less team amplification and no Energy loop.

Relics
Best support set: every Ultimate advances Kafka's action, creating more turns and more DoT triggers.
Prisoner improves Kafka's own DoT damage and can ignore DEF when enough DoTs are active, but loses Eagle's action advance.
When to use it : Use only when prioritizing Kafka's personal damage over the support build's total team damage.
Accessible transition mix that reuses strong Lightning DMG and SPD pieces while farming Eagle; it does not provide Eagle's four-piece action advance.
Reuses common two-piece sets while the four-piece Eagle set is still being farmed.
Planar Ornaments
The Energy Regeneration Rate enables more Ultimates; place Kafka outside the first slot so the first-slot DoT ally also receives its ATK bonus.
At 160 SPD, Glamoth grants its full personal DMG bonus, but it gives up Lushaka's Energy and ally ATK support.
When to use it : Use with strong existing pieces when Kafka reaches 160 SPD and is built for personal damage.
Alternative when substats cannot efficiently reach 75% Effect Hit Rate; it trades Lushaka's Energy and ally support for Effect Hit Rate and ATK.
Team lineup
Premium DoT team: Hysilens and Black Swan apply layered DoTs, Kafka accelerates them through repeated triggers, and Huohuo sustains the team while supplying Energy and ATK.
Possible substitutions
JiaoqiuA five-star replacement when Black Swan is unavailable.
Ruan MeiKeeps the team supplied with damage-over-time effects.
GuinaifenReplaces a DoT applier when the premium option is missing.

Kafka accelerates damage-over-time teams: her Skill, Ultimate, and follow-up attack repeatedly trigger DoTs applied by the rest of the team. She wants consistency and turns, not CRIT stats.
How to play it
- 1Let Hysilens or Black Swan apply their DoTs before Kafka acts.
- 2Use Kafka's Skill on the enemy carrying the most DoTs.
- 3Use her Ultimate once the enemy wave is afflicted; keep enough Skill Points to repeat her Skill on every turn.
